Immersmind and Stepico today shared a new look at Discovery: Rogue Planet, a story-driven sci-fi VR shooter coming to Meta Quest and SteamVR.
Built in Unreal Engine, Discovery: Rogue Planet is designed as a full single-player VR FPS campaign set on Rogax, a dangerous frontier planet where every mission can turn into a fight for survival. Players step into the role of a bounty hunter navigating hostile environments, fighting aggressive alien creatures, and uncovering the truth behind a world filled with secrets, conflict, and danger.
Unlike arena-based or wave-focused VR shooters, Discovery: Rogue Planet is built around narrative progression, exploration, and immersive first-person combat. The team is focused on using VR not only to put weapons in the player’s hands, but to make the world of Rogax feel physically present around them.
