Senior .NET Engineer

About the Project

Our project is a casual mobile F2P game that blends Merge-2 mechanics with an engaging adventure story set in a captivating, atmospheric world. On the backend it’s a server-authoritative, microservice platform built to run live-ops at scale — A/B testing, configurable game balance, and personalized offers for a large, active player base. You’ll work in a mature .NET ecosystem where the server and the Unity client share a common codebase, which accelerates development and keeps the project stable and consistent.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and write server-side game logic on ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) across a microservice architecture, each cleanly layered into API / business logic / data access.
  • Build real-time client—server communication with SignalR.
  • Develop within the shared server/client logic (a common .NET codebase consumed by the Unity client) to keep game rules consistent across both sides.
  • Model and optimize data access over PostgreSQL (EF Core / Npgsql), Redis, and AWS DynamoDB — handling large data volumes and high-throughput queries.
  • Integrate services through a RabbitMQ message bus.
  • Ship and operate services on AWS with Kubernetes (Helm), with observability via Prometheus / OpenTelemetry and CI/CD on GitLab.
