UI/UX Designer (Gamedev, Contractor)

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who can transform complex game systems into intuitive, elegant, and engaging player experiences.

Our project focuses on city development, resource management, production chains, progression systems, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate understands how to present large amounts of information in a clear and visually appealing way while maintaining accessibility and player engagement throughout long gameplay sessions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design user experiences and interface solutions for city-building and management gameplay systems.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interface structures for core game features and future content expansions.
  • Design visual interfaces, HUD elements, windows, menus, panels, icons, and supporting UI assets.
  • Develop interfaces for construction systems, resource management, production chains, economy systems, progression features, events, shops, and live operations content.
  • Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Artists, Developers, and Team Leads to create seamless player experiences.
  • Maintain and expand scalable UI libraries and design systems throughout project development.
  • Prepare UI assets and documentation for implementation in the game engine.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer in the game industry.
  • Experience designing interfaces for mobile, PC, console, and web/browser games.
  • Experience working with different visual styles (e.g., Casual, Midcore, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Cartoon, Realistic).
  • English proficiency.
  • Up-to-date portfolio.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience building and scaling UX/UI libraries and design systems.
  • Experience creating user flows and delivering both UX and visual UI solutions.
  • Experience in preparing UI export for game engines
  • Solid understanding of game UX principles and player behavior

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing interfaces for strategy, simulation, management, or city-builder games.
  • Experience with UI animation and motion design.
  • Knowledge of Unity workflows and implementation constraints.
  • Understanding of live-service systems, retention mechanics, and long-term progression design.
  • Experience working with data-heavy interfaces and complex management systems.
