About Project 

Nile Valley is a mobile farming game set in an ancient world, combining classic farming mechanics with an adventurous storyline.

Players experience the contrasting environment of a hot desert and the cool shade of date palms while developing a farm with healthy grains and sweet fruits. At the same time, they progress through a captivating plot that unveils the secrets of Ancient Egypt, featuring capricious gods and cunning merchants leading caravans from neighboring lands.

Requirements

  • Expertise in content creation and tool development in DCC tools;
  • Proficiency in shader authoring (GLSL, HLSL);
  • Proficiency in Unity Render Pipelines (HDRP, URP);
  • Knowledge of deferred shading and techniques for achieving customized visuals;
  • Solid knowledge of C#;
  • Experience using Git.

Will be a plus

  • Experience with optimizing mobile games;
  • Knowledge of effects and post-processing;
  • Well-versed with coding in Python, C++;
  • Expertise in performance profiling (RenderDoc, PIX);
  • Experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter;
  • Experience with Photoshop, Maya or 3DS Max etc., and a willingness to learn new tools;
  • Highly skilled at communicating issues to varied audiences: managers, engineers, and artists.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create new pipelines and tools and support existing ones;
  • Negotiate effectively with art and engineering to create new workflows;
  • Carry responsibility for adjusting art created by other artists for the developers;
  • Monitor and optimize game performance. Optimize graphics for technical use;
  • Help in the development of the game with VFX creation, shaders development, rendering, and lighting;
  • Write DCC scripts in at least one language — be able to design and implement simple tools without hand-holding;
  • Review and evaluate current and emerging technologies and technical developments for potential use in our games.
