As a Senior Game Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the game design is engaging, innovative, and aligns with the overall vision of the project. Your deep understanding of game mechanics, player behavior, and monetization strategies will be crucial in delivering high-quality gaming experiences.

Requirements

  • Extensive Experience in Game Design: Proven experience as a Game Designer with a strong portfolio of successful mobile F2P games, particularly in the casual gaming market.
  • In-depth knowledge of Game Design Principles: Deep understanding of game design mechanics, systems, and live operations, with a focus on F2P economies and monetization strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret player data, make informed design decisions, and iterate on game features based on analytics.
  • Experience with Analytical Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as Tableau or similar for data analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, developers, and product managers.
  • User Experience (UX) Design Principles: Strong understanding of UX design principles and how they apply to game design to ensure a seamless and engaging player experience.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions that align with the project’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Core Gameplay Mechanics: Work closely with the design team to conceptualize and develop innovative game mechanics, systems, and features that align with the overall game vision.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with artists, developers, and product managers to ensure that the game design is implemented effectively and meets the project’s objectives.
  • Analyze Player Data: Continuously analyze player data and feedback to optimize game features, mechanics, and in-game economies, enhancing player engagement and monetization.
  • Maintain and Update Game Design Documentation: Write and maintain detailed game design documents, ensuring they accurately reflect the current state of the game and its design processes.
  • Contribute to the Overall Game Vision: Work with the Lead Game Designer and Game Producer to ensure that all game design efforts align with the overall vision and goals of the project.
