About position
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as a key member of the executive team for Stepico Games. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive technological innovation, and maintain cutting-edge industry standards. The CTO will analyze clients’ problems and requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality gaming solutions that solve these problems. The CTO will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, from software development to technology infrastructure.

Requirements
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team building and staff development;
- Management Experience: Proven experience in people and process management within an engineering environment;
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, in English (Upper-intermediate or higher level);
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic plans based on organizational goals and implement them effectively;
- Innovation and Flexibility: A strong drive to innovate and adapt to changing environments and challenges;
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in evaluating performance metrics and making data-driven decisions;
- Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.

Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Communication: Serve as the main liaison for departmental communication within and without the organization:
- Raise issues from the technical department to any other Head/Lead or C-level representative;
- Act as a primary contact point for other department heads, leads, or C-level representatives;
- Attend/Hold meetings on behalf of the technical department;
- Receive or identify problems that concern or involve the technical department and facilitate their resolution;
- Describe and provide artistic expertise to potential clients, partners, or vendors;
- Mediation: Act as an arbiter in technical or people disputes and handle raised issues from the technical department;
- Technical and management expertise: Act as an assistant from the technical side to other departments, if required;
- Hiring and Training: Recruit, onboard, and provide training to line managers or sub-department leads, ensuring a high level of department competency;
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate the department’s budget responsibly;
- Key decision making: Decide on prioritize and control enactment of technological development and decisions;
- KPIs and Metrics: Part takes directly into the company’s strategic planning and translates global goals and vision into departmental KPIs. Present and explain these KPIs to reporters and make sure the department is meeting them or adjusting them according to the adjustment of the strategy or actual implementation.
