Chief Business Development and Sales Officer

About position

CBDSO is a top management position responsible for creating, managing and training a Business Development team, setting and monitoring their performance metrics and growing business opportunities. They are accountable for driving sales, creating new business opportunities, and growing new business revenue streams. CBDSO will also be expected to represent and facilitate their team’s needs within the larger company’s structure as well as closely collaborating with Delivery and Marketing teams to achieve mutual goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant ( IT/iGaming/Game Development ) sales experience, including management of sales teams
    • At least 3 years in a managerial position
    • Last 2 years or more on a relevant head or C-level position
  • Experience in managing teams of 5 or more people
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Proactive attitude and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in building lead gen/sales pipelines
  • С1+ English level

Will be a plus

  • Experience and proven case of setting up successful outreach and ABM programs
  • (In-depth) knowledge of the game development and iGaming domains
  • Classical education in business, economics or management
  • Experience working with clients from far or middle East

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and grow sales pipeline, as well as other business development opportunities.
    • Forming and managing inbound sales pipeline
    • Forming and managing outbound sales pipeline
    • Growing personal networking, aiding in creating network for other sales rep, including company’s top management
    • Cold outreach and ABM campaigns
  • Set metrics and organize other BD events (conferences, etc.)
  • Own and manage sales department budget
  • Manage, train and grow your sales team.
  • Own, control and improve department metrics and KPIs
  • Aid in creation and implementation of the company’s strategy as a part of top management.
  • Decompose company’s goals and objectives and create goals for sales department based on them ( make your metrics contributing towards the company’s goals )
  • Run retrospectives and adjust to changing markets and company’s goals.
  • Form and maintain our ICP and sales profiles
