MINI GAMES FOR OKTA
Client request
Overview
At the end of December, Stepico was approached by OKTA, a major U.S. cloud solutions provider — together with VIA Sparks, who were preparing for NRF 2026, one of the largest retail conferences in the United States.
We had a sole goal to create interactive iPad18 games for two booth stations. Yet there was a twist: Stepico had to work with very tight timelines, which urged the team to complete the scope within days.

Development
Mechanics
Designed three fast-paced mini games representing key stages of the retail journey: picking, packing, and dispatch.
Each mechanic focused on simplicity, time pressure, and intuitive drag-and-drop interactions to maximize engagement in a booth setting.
Art + UI
Created a cohesive visual system aligned with OKTA’s brand identity, using a blue-driven palette and clean, touch-first layouts.
All screens — from gameplay to sign-up and leaderboard — were designed for clarity, speed, and effortless interaction.
Our challenges
TIGHT DEADLINE
The project required rapid alignment, fast decision-making, and immediate execution to deliver a fully functional, branded experience before the conference.
Speed was critical, but stability and polish could not be compromised.
INSTANT ENGAGEMENT
Conference visitors have limited time and attention.
The experience had to attract instantly, communicate its purpose within seconds, and deliver satisfying gameplay in short, high-impact sessions.
