Middle Game Designer (iGaming, Slots & Beyond)

We are looking for a Game Designer to join our team and create engaging, unique, and market-relevant iGaming products – primarily slots, but not limited to them. You will work in varying degrees of independence: sometimes in close cooperation with an external client and/or producer who sets the product vision, sometimes developing concepts entirely from scratch.

An understanding of the iGaming market and product specifics is essential.

We do not develop the licensed backend or RNG mathematics, so you will not be required to calculate math models or work on licensed backend systems. However, familiarity with these processes will be considered an advantage.

While we have an exceptional track record and portfolio in Art production for this segment, we are actively growing our development and game design expertise. We welcome candidates who can not only contribute to projects but also bring new knowledge and practices to our team.

Our company values

  • A policy of open communication;
  • Strong appreciation of your performance;

  • B1 (Intermediate) English.
  • Collaborate with Art, Development, and Production teams to maintain and evolve the design vision.
  • Develop and document game concepts, features, and mechanics for slots and other iGaming formats.
  • Own and tune core gameplay systems: economy flow, progression pacing, player engagement loops, and monetization strategies.
  • Research market trends and competitor products to ensure design relevance and market fit.
  • Suggest new mechanics, bonus features, and player retention systems tailored for iGaming.
  • Work with analytics to review game performance metrics and apply insights to improve KPIs.
  • Maintain structured, clear documentation and follow features from concept to implementation and testing.
  • Support LiveOps with creative event and content ideas.

What We Expect From You

  • 1+ years of experience in game design for iGaming (slots, instant games, or other gambling/real-money titles) or in closely related F2P genres with transferable skills.
  • Solid understanding of iGaming product specifics, player motivations, and engagement patterns.
  • Experience in designing game systems with a focus on retention and monetization.
  • Ability to create clear, structured design documentation.
  • Understanding of basic analytics and KPI interpretation.

Will be a BIG plus

  • Familiarity with slot math concepts, RNG principles, or regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with Unity.
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets or similar tools for prototyping and balancing.
  • Background in both conceptual and post-launch/live operations phases.

What will you get with Stepico

  • 18 working days of paid time off;
  • 5 paid sick leaves (without doctors notes);
  • Compensation for external conferences/ workshops/ events;
